This furnace has an input of 42,000 BTU per hour. At 96% AFUE, approximately 40,320 BTU is delivered into your home while about 4% is lost through venting. Please note that all 90% and higher furnaces must be vented using plastic or PVC flue venting, while 80% efficient furnaces must be vented using metal venting.
