Safety Features

• Electrical Safety – Installation and electrical wiring must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Power must be switched off before servicing or cleaning.
• Proper Installation – Designed for ceiling installation and must be installed according to S&P's installation instructions. The fan must not be mounted in a wall.
• Backdraft Protection – Built-in backdraft damper helps prevent unwanted airflow through the exhaust system.
• Outdoor Venting – Ducted installations must be vented to the outdoors. Ductwork connections should be properly secured and sealed.
• Safe Application – For general ventilating use only. Do not use the fan to exhaust hazardous or explosive materials or vapors, or install it in a cooking area.
• GFCI Protection – Suitable for installation over a tub or shower when connected to a GFCI-protected branch circuit and installed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
