The Santa Fe SmartAire Power Damper (SKU 4042960) is a purpose-built ventilation control accessory for Santa Fe Ultra Series whole-house ventilating dehumidifiers, letting the dehumidifier itself manage fresh air intake so you don't need a separate external ventilation controller.
Once it is installed correctly, your system can bring filtered outdoor air into the home in line with ASHRAE 62.2 requirements. The damper's smart ventilation feature monitors outdoor temperature and humidity for 48 hours, then learns the best times of day to let fresh air in, which helps limit the moisture and heat load that outdoor air can add.
An insulated duct and port seal guard against condensation and air leakage, and you can choose from five comfort modes or two code-compliant modes to match your needs. The damper is UL Listed to UL 1995, and it works with the Ultra70, Ultra98, Ultra120, Ultra120V, Ultra155, and Ultra205 models.
