Sticky air, musty smells, and a system that cools but never quite dries. A ventilating dehumidifier fixes that for the whole house, not one room at a time. This package pairs the Santa Fe Ultra70 with the control, filtration, and mounting hardware it needs from day one.
The Ultra70 is backed by Santa Fe's 6-year warranty. Package accessories carry their own manufacturer coverage.
This MERV 13 filter is the factory replacement for the Santa Fe Compact70 and Ultra70, so you know it's the right size before you order. MERV 13 filters come standard in all Santa Fe whole house ventilating dehumidifiers and more effectively filter contaminants like microscopic allergens, bacteria, smoke, and PM2.5. These filters can be vacuum cleaned on a regular basis but should be replaced every 6 months.
The Small Hang Kit (SKU 4036695) is designed to suspend compatible horizontal dehumidifiers above the floor in crawl spaces, basements, or attic installations.
Suspending the unit helps protect it from standing water, saves floor space, and can support more effective condensate drainage routing.
Quest documentation lists the kit for Quest 70 applications and specifies included eyebolts, cables with carabiners, and brackets.
Includes manufacturer limited warranty coverage where applicable. Verify final warranty terms with the manufacturer or authorized seller.
The Santa Fe Ultra70 was the first compact whole house ventilating dehumidifier built for tight, low-clearance installs. It removes up to 70 pints of moisture per day and covers homes up to 1,800 square feet, which makes it a strong match for smaller houses, condos, and apartments.
Ducted into your HVAC system, the Ultra70 controls humidity everywhere at once instead of one room at a time. That means no musty basement smell, no clammy upstairs bedrooms, and no conditions that let mold and wood rot get started.
The cabinet measures 12" W x 12" H x 28" L and converts between horizontal and vertical airflow discharge, so it works in mechanical rooms, closets, attics, basements, and crawl spaces alike. Now running R454B refrigerant, it exceeds Department of Energy efficiency standards and is built at Santa Fe's headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin.
The Ultra70 gives you three ways to install it. Tie it into your existing HVAC system with a dedicated 8" return and a supply connection with backdraft damper. Run it on its own separate ductwork. Or set it freestanding in a basement or crawl space when ducting isn't practical.
Both the return air inlet and supply air outlet use 8" duct collars. The back panel comes configured for horizontal flow through and rotates for vertical flow through with a T20 torx bit, which is what lets the same unit work in an attic, a closet, or under a floor.
Fresh air ventilation is optional and simple to add. A "T" into the inlet duct brings outdoor air into the system to dilute pollutants and maintain normal oxygen levels indoors, and the volume is adjustable with a range of dampers and controls.
Santa Fe warrants the Ultra70 Dehumidifier to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The unit includes a 5-year limited warranty, with extended coverage on select components. Warranty coverage may vary based on installation, application, and registration requirements. Refer to the manufacturer’s documentation for complete warranty details.
Dehumidifiers live in the roughest parts of a house. The Ultra70 is built from heavy-duty steel with components chosen to hold up to damp air, dust, and temperature swings over years of runtime.
Inside, a high-efficiency refrigeration coil, compressor, and fan work together to pull more moisture using about 15% less energy than comparably sized units. The R454B refrigerant charge lowers the environmental impact compared to earlier models while keeping performance where it needs to be.
The MERV-13 filter comes standard and pulls fine particles out of the airstream as the unit works. Vacuum it regularly and swap it every six months. The unit operates between 49°F and 95°F, plugs into a standard 115V grounded outlet at 5.4 amps, and ships with a 9 ft. cord.

Gain digital control of your Quest or Santa Fe dehumidifier with the Honeywell HumidiPRO. This humidistat can be installed on a wall or onto your HVAC unit's return duct to receive the best results.
The HumidiPRO works with both Quest and Santa Fe dehumidifiers, so one control covers either brand. That includes whole-home and ventilating models like the Santa Fe Compact70 and Ultra70. If you're running a Quest unit, it wires in the same way, no brand-specific control needed.
Based on how you install the HumidiPRO, the control will operate accordingly. For a more precise reading, it is highly recommended to install the Honeywell HumidiPRO on a wall on the return side of the home's HVAC duct. Another option is to install the controller on a wall that is away from windows, bathrooms, and doors.
It doesn't get easier than this. With the HumidiPRO's easy-to-operate system, all you have to do is select a preprogrammed setting and you're all set.
