The SchwankAir 1200 Series Air Curtain is designed to create an effective air seal across open doorways, helping reduce the exchange of indoor and outdoor air. Its smooth airflow helps keep conditioned air inside while helping deter outside air, dust, and flying insects from entering through open doors. The 1200 Series is available in 36", 48", and 60" models for a variety of commercial doorway applications.

This unheated air curtain features high- and low-airflow settings that can be selected at the push of a button, allowing users to adjust the airflow to suit their application. The 1200 Series is designed for doorways up to 9 feet high and can be used for retail doors, restaurants, hotels, shopping malls, storage facilities, and other commercial applications.

For convenient automatic operation, the unit comes equipped with a magnetic door switch that can automatically turn the air curtain on when the door opens and off when the door closes. A remote control is also included for convenient operation, while mounting brackets are provided to simplify installation.

The SchwankAir 1200 Series is an ambient-only, unheated air curtain available in a black finish. Multiple units can also be installed together when a doorway is wider than a single unit, making it possible to accommodate larger openings.

What's Included

Safety Features

• Secure Mounting: Install the air curtain on a rigid and sturdy structure to help prevent excessive vibration and noise.
• Indoor Use Only: The unit is designed for indoor installation and should not be installed outdoors.
• Minimum Installation Height: The unit should be installed no less than 90 inches (2.3 meters) from the ground.
• Proper Installation Environment: Do not install the unit where it may be splashed by liquid, exposed to excessive steam, or exposed to explosive or corrosive gases.
• Electrical Safety: The unit must be operated at the rated voltage and frequency indicated on the nameplate, with electrical wiring and connections performed by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable electrical codes and local regulations.
• Power-Off Servicing: The main electrical supply must be disconnected before installing, maintaining, or repairing the air curtain.
• Annual Maintenance: Routine maintenance should be performed annually to help maintain proper operation.
• Proper Cleaning: Do not use petrol, benzene, thinner, or similar chemicals when cleaning the unit.

Warranty Information

Schwank provides a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of installation. The warranty applies to the original owner and subsequent transferees and does not cover labor, transportation, removal, or reinstallation costs.
