High-Efficiency Air Curtain Designed to Help Minimize Heat Loss and Keep Unwanted Air Out

The Schwank Select10 Series Air Curtain is designed to create an effective air barrier across open doorways, helping shield the opening and minimize the exchange of indoor and outdoor air. Its high-efficiency EC motor delivers controlled airflow across the doorway to help minimize heat loss. The Select10 Series is available in 36", 60", and 72" widths to accommodate a variety of commercial entrance applications.

These ambient, unheated air curtains are designed for indoor surface-mount installation at heights up to 10 feet. Air is drawn in through the top of the unit and blown downward across the doorway to help shield the opening. The adjustable outlet grille allows the direction of the airflow to be adjusted according to the conditions at the doorway. For the optimum air curtain effect, the unit should extend across the full width of the door opening.

The Select10 Series features an integrated control system and can be remotely controlled for convenient operation. With the door contact function, the fan runs at low speed when the door is closed and switches to high speed when the door opens. The high-speed setting can be adjusted using the remote control or the control panel on the unit.

Designed for quiet operation in commercial environments, the Select10 Series features an energy-efficient EC motor, a front grille designed to reduce vibration and sound, and a top air intake designed to help reduce noise. The front cover provides access for maintenance, while mounting brackets are included with the unit. The ambient AC-KA models operate at 208V, single-phase, 60Hz and are also approved for 230V, single-phase, 60Hz operation. These models are rated IP21.

What's Included

Each Schwank Select10 Series Air Curtain package includes the air curtain unit, wall-mounting brackets, and a Torx bit for installation. The unit also features a pre-installed integrated control system with remote-control capability and a built-in control board with a 4.9-foot power cord for ambient models.

Safety Features

• Qualified Installation: Installation and maintenance should be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with applicable electrical codes and local regulations.
• Proper Installation: Install the unit horizontally with the supply air grille facing downward and as close to the door as possible.
• Installation Height: Recommended for installation heights up to 10 feet.
• Electrical Safety: The power supply voltage must match the unit's data label, and the unit must be properly fused according to the manufacturer's requirements.
• Power-Off Servicing: Disconnect the power supply before performing service, repairs, or maintenance.
• Motor Protection: Built-in thermal protection helps protect the motor from excessive temperature.
• Routine Cleaning: Clean the inlet and exhaust grilles and impeller at least twice a year, and avoid strong alkaline or acidic cleaning agents.
• Clear Airflow: Keep the air intake and exhaust grilles free from obstructions and do not cover the unit.

Warranty Information

Schwank provides a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of installation. The warranty is subject to the terms and conditions specified by the manufacturer.
