OVERVIEW

The Teco Westinghouse L510 Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is a compact, cost-effective solution that delivers precise motor control for light- to medium-duty applications. Ideal for OEM equipment, small machinery, and HVAC systems, it offers reliable performance with simple, user-friendly programming. Designed as a micro AC drive, the L510 supports motors from 1/4 HP to 3 HP across 115V, 230V, and 460V configurations, making it highly versatile. With sensorless vector and V/Hz control modes, it delivers smooth acceleration, stable torque, and consistent speed even under changing load conditions.

For variable speed control using a VFD, the fan must be configured as a 3-phase motor. You have flexibility with your power source:

• The VFD can accept either single-phase or three-phase input power
• It will then output three-phase power to the fan

Important: Even if you are using single-phase power at your location, you can still operate the fan—this VFD converts single-phase input to three-phase output
