OVERVIEW

Improve air quality in your industrial or commercial establishment with this TPI 30" 2-speed heavy-duty belt drive fan with no joist cut shutter BD302WHS! This heavy-duty fan provides ventilation and improves airflow in the attic of your facility. It pushes cold air inside to regulate your attic's temperature and to provide a cool, comfortable environment. It features 2 speed settings and a powerful 1/3 hp motor, allowing it to reach up to 7600 CFM on the highest setting. Plus, the lower setting provides extra versatility to ensure the fan meets a variety of needs and preferences.

To save valuable space, this rugged fan mounts to the ceiling of your attic. It includes a durable 30" blade, allowing it to move a high volume of air. The no joist cut shutter automatically opens when the fan is turned on and tightly shuts when the fan is turned off. This not only easily indicates when the fan is turned on or off, but it also helps control dust, insects, and other particulates from entering. This unit requires a 120V, 1 phase electrical connection. It must be hardwired; a cord and plug are not included.

Customer Questions
How energy efficient are these BD fans?
These fans have 2 speeds, which allows you to run them on a lower speed when full power isn’t needed, saving on energy. Also, the automatic shutters reduce heat transfer and air leakage when the fan is off, which helps efficiency overall.
How do I maintain these fans long-lasting?
To keep your fan running smoothly, we recommend cleaning the shutters and blades regularly, inspecting the belts, checking belt tension, and tightening any loose fasteners. Depending on usage, you may also need to lubricate the motor mounts and clear away any debris around the housing.
Can I install this fan without cutting my ceiling joists?
Yes, you can. The BD Series comes with a “no joist cut shutter” design, which means it fits between joists without the need for modifications, making installation much simpler.
How loud is the BD Series during operation?
These are heavy-duty belt drive fans, so some noise is expected, especially at higher speeds. That said, proper installation and secure mounting can go a long way in minimizing vibration and keeping noise levels at a comfortable level.
How often should I clean or inspect the shutters and blades?
For most homes, once a year is enough. If your attic or environment is dusty, we recommend inspecting and cleaning it twice a year to maintain clear airflow and keep the shutters functioning properly.
