Watson McDaniel 3/4 Inch HDTTemperature Control Valve Assembly
The Watson McDaniel HD-13-N main regulating valve is a full port 3/4” NPT ductile iron valve rated for use with an incoming pressure between 15 – 300 psig. This package includes a PTUBW-30-8temperature pilot for controlling a downstream temperature between 160°F 220°F. The pilot includes an 8-foot capillary and copper sensing bulb with brass isolation well. Within boiler feed systems, a temperature control valve is typically used on atmospheric feed tanks to control the water temperature. This assembly is intended for systems that utilize a high-pressure steam injector. Note: if the tank utilizes a low-pressure steam sparge tube (operating around 5 psi), then a temperature AND pressure control valve is recommended to prevent the sparge tube from exceeding its designed operating pressure.
