1.5 Tons

The RunTru by Trane A5AC3018A1 air conditioner condenser has an output of 1.5 tons, generally enough to cool up to a small house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. 13.4 SEER2

The RunTru by Trane A5AC3018A1 air conditioner condenser is rated at 13.4 SEER2, making it between 5-7% more efficient than former 13 SEER1 units, saving you money in electric bills over the entire lifetime of your unit.

This unit (and all 13.4 SEER2 units) cannot be shipped or installed in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Warranty

RunTru by Trane offers a 10 year compressor, outdoor coil, and parts warranty on this condenser. For these warranties to be upheld, the unit must be installed following your state and local codes, a new and certified evaporator coil must be installed at the same time, and the entire system must be registered online through the manufacturer.

Durability

The cabinet of RunTru by Trane units are extremely durable. On the A5AC3018A1, there are reinforced corner posts and the internals of the unit are protected by an additional inlet grille, all to provide enhanced protection to the unit.

To comply with safety standards, this unit must be paired with an R454B air handler or evaporator coil equipped with a leakage detection system.
