A Goodman combination system is a great choice to keep your home comfortable all season long. With tons of extra features and a great price, a Goodman furnace and air conditioning system is a perfect choice for all of your heating and cooling needs.
The GM9C801004CN Goodman gas furnace features high-quality construction and efficient operation at a great value. The GM9C801004CN two-stage, 9-speed furnace utilizes Goodman's superior heat exchanger design to provide efficient, reliable heating to your home. If you're looking to cut your energy bills and improve your comfort without breaking the bank, your search stops with the Goodman GM9C801004CN.
The GM9C801004CN Goodman gas furnace is 100,000 BTU’s. This BTU count is a measure of the input of the furnace per hour, while the output of this furnace is 80,000 BTU’s (100,000 X 80% AFUE) per hour. In ideal climate conditions, this 100,000 BTU furnace is usually used to heat a medium-sized house.
The GM9C801004CN Goodman gas furnace is 80% efficient, and the standard furnace efficiency on the market today. This means that 80% of the gas going into the furnace is used to heat your home and the remaining 20% is lost out of the flue venting. Please note that all 80% furnaces must be vented using metal flue venting, while anything higher than 90% efficient must be vented using plastic/PVC venting.
Please note that this furnace does not comply with California Low NOx or Ultra-Low NOx regulations. If you have any questions, please contact us.
The GM9C801004CN Goodman gas furnace is a two stage furnace that has two heating outputs on the burner: full output on colder winter days and a lower output for milder days that the furnace doesn’t have to run quite as much. Two stage furnaces allow for a more even heat distribution, as the furnace will only kick on the higher stage if the indoor temperature is more than a few degrees away from the desired temperature. Since the lower stage will be used more often, the GM9C801004CN will run quieter than a single stage system. While the majority of the benefits of a two stage feature on a furnace are comfort based, the efficiency of the furnace is slightly higher due to it burning less fuel at its lower stage.
From the factory, the GM9C801004CN runs on natural gas. However all Goodman gas furnaces can be converted to propane using the furnace’s corresponding LP conversion kit, an optional accessory at an additional cost that consists of a replacement set of orifices and springs.
Instead of the last generation PSC blower motor, the GM9C801004CN utilizes a 9-speed ECM motor, which uses less power and provides smarter air circulation. All of this causes an overall increase in the electrical efficiency of your furnace, which saves you money.
With installation that follows your state and local codes and with online registration, all Goodman furnaces come with a 10-year parts and lifetime heat exchanger warranty through the manufacturer.
The hot surface igniter on modern Goodman furnaces are more durable than previous designs, decreasing related issues and lowering maintenance costs. These hot surface ignitors are also more efficient than standing pilot and older HSI designs, saving you even more money.
The Goodman brand has improved technology from years of production experience, allowing for a long-lasting product that rarely has any issues. However, if something does go wrong on the furnace, the control board has a set of sensors that allow it to diagnose basic issues, allowing for easy troubleshooting and to notify the owner if basic maintenance or warranty work is recommended. This increases the overall safety of the unit, for the furnace itself and the occupants of the home where it is installed.
The heavy-gauge steel cabinet on new Goodman furnaces provide adequate protection to the internal mechanisms of the unit. The cabinet is also more air-tight than previous models, allowing for a quiet, more economical unit due to losing less heat and preventing more sound from exiting the unit.
The value of modern Goodman furnaces doesn't end at efficiency. Today’s Goodman furnaces feature many different connection options to reduce installation. The GM9C801004CN model has a more universal design, which consists of its ability to be installed in both an upflow or horizontal configuration. This allows for an easier installation in more locations, from your attic to your basement. The furnace also comes with color-coded low-voltage terminals that allow for a shorter and easier installation time, which decreases installation costs.
Designed for use in primarily low-airflow resistance installations, the Goodman CSCF3642N6 slab coil has a low profile, allowing it to fit in tight spaces while maintaining an inexpensive cost.
At an output of 3 to 3.5 tons, the Goodman CSCF3642N6 evaporator coil is ready for almost any horizontal application that matches your output needs. In entire system configurations, the coil will be either larger or the same size as the condenser’s tonnage. As such, the tonnages of the coil and the condenser may be different in order to maintain the unit’s efficiency. Please note that for this coil to function, a furnace or blower and a condenser is required, all sold separately. This coil is not designed to replace the coil in a single-piece air handler.
Goodman offers a 10 year parts warranty on the CSCF3642N6 when it is installed following your state and local codes, when a compatible R410A condenser is used, and when the entire system is registered online through the manufacturer.
With its small form factor, the Goodman CSCF3642N6 horizontal slab evaporator coil is designed for tight installation spaces. The copper sweat connections allow for faster installation, saving you money. There is a factory-implemented rust-resistant, high-temperature thermoplastic drain pan with multiple drain connections, making it reliable even with a high amount of water coming off the unit due to humidity. The copper tube and aluminum fin coil is designed to be durable for constant use, giving you the peace of mind that your unit will run when you need it most.
Goodman's TXV valves are designed to improve the reliability and efficiency of your central split system. With the TX3N4, you can be assured that your two-and-a-half or three ton system is getting the proper refrigerant flow, even through changing conditions. Since this valve is installed externally, it is easy to service and maintain. If you're looking to improve the efficiency and performance of your system, the TX3N4 is a good start.

The Goodman GSXN3N3010 is a cooling-only condenser unit. Providing a 13.4 SEER2 efficiency with a single stage, reciprocating compressor, the GSXN3N3010 is an inexpensive condenser to cool your home when paired with an AC coil.
The GSXN3N3010 condenser is a 2.5 ton AC only unit. In an ideal climate situation, the GSXN3N3010 can usually cover a medium-sized house. For this unit to function, an indoor air handler or coil is required, and this unit is cooling only with no heating capacity on its own.
The Goodman GSXN3N3010 AC condenser is designed to be 13.4 SEER2. This is the lowest efficiency on the market today, making it an inexpensive option for northern states. Please note that this product is regulated by DOE Efficiency Standards.
Due to new efficiency requirements, this unit cannot be installed in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
The GSXN3N3010 condenser comes with Goodman's standard 10 year parts warranty with online registration through the manufacturer. An installation that follows your state and local codes is required for the warranty to be upheld.
With an enhanced copper tube and aluminum fin coil, the GSXN3N3010 is designed to prevent coil degradation. With the baked-on powder-paint finish, the condenser's heavy-gauge galvanized-steel cabinet is approved for up to 500 hours of salt-spray. The factory-installed filter dryer lowers general wear-and-tear on the unit. All of these features provide you with a durable, reliable condenser to be used whenever you need to cool your home.
The Goodman GSXN3N3010 AC condenser comes standard with service valves that have sweat connections and easy-access gauge ports, both providing a lower installation difficulty and time to lower installation costs. The outer casing has both a top and a side access to allow for easier maintenance and warranty access when necessary.
The Goodman brand always has its customer's comfort in mind. The GSXN3N3010 is no exception, with not only using high-quality components but also providing enhanced sound-dampening features that allows the brand to manufacture some of the lowest sound output levels in the industry.
