2 Ton Wall Mounted ACiQ Air Handler -R410A
The ACiQ Wall Mounted Central Air Handler is ideal for multi-tenant buildings with its compact design, perfect for closets. It features a digital EEV for precise refrigerant flow control and is designed for vertical wall mounting with an up-flow-only configuration. The included smart thermostat, equipped with Wi-Fi, communicates with both the inverter condenser outside and the variable air handler inside, allowing the system to self-adjust BTU output for maximum efficiency and comfort. It efficiently distributes heated and cooled air throughout your home by attaching to your existing ductwork.

Installing the ACiQ Wall Mounted Central Air Handler is similar to installing any replacement air handler. Your technician will handle electrical, refrigerant, thermostat, and communication connections, as well as connecting to your return and supply ductwork. This air handler is designed for vertical wall mounting with an up-flow-only configuration. Any 24V thermostat with 2 stages of heating can control the system, but the supplied thermostat is recommended. You can add electric strip heat for backup on the coldest days. The intelligent control board displays fault codes if maintenance is needed.
NOTE: to function as a heat pump, this air handler must be installed with a condenser and other installation equipment, available at an additional cost if not already included in this product bundle. To use straight electric heating, an electric heater coil is necessary and is also available at an additional cost.

- 2 ton aciqThe installation went well. Had a hard time finding S1 S2 inside the air handler. Very hard to unscrew the screws on S1 S2 because the board was in the top of the inside panel with very little room.
The thermostat (controller) is hard to read and can’t tell where the buttons are in the dark. Buttons need to be backlit.
Also needs to be adjustable to set the temperature to 0.5 degrees or 1 degree. It seems to take 2 degrees for the unit to come on or off. Maybe a set of dip switches to do this. Could use some improvement.
The tech was very helpful but the second time i called he said i needed special shielded cables even though the manual says it is not needed. I had the orange and yellow wires mixed up because they had faded. Once i got the right wires it fired right up. Runs great.Posted on

- 4th system purchasedThis our 4th system purchase from HVAC direct. We have been very happy with the previous purchases. This last purchase seems all okay except for one issue. the Line set was to be 3/4†and 3/8†30 foot. Since we just opened all of the boxes today, we found the 3/8†pipe was missing from the line set box. Only the 3/4†insulated pipe was in the box. The weather has been so cold we have stored the shipment until today.
Other than this issue everything has been stellar! We are about ready to order another system.Posted on

I have some non-professional experience and he makes me feel confident and is willing to help me make sure I understand what is going on. You made a great choice hiring him.
