Unlike single stage gas furnaces that operate either all on or all off, a Goodman modulating gas furnace typically runs at the lowest possible speed to precisely maintain a constant, steady temperature in your house. This furnace is designed to be installed in either an upflow or horizontal configuration. Not intended for mobile homes.

The Goodman GSXC180241 18 SEER Air Conditioner uses the chlorine-free refrigerant R-410A and features energy efficiencies and operating sound levels that are among the best in the heating and cooling industry. The GSXC180241 contains the two stage, high efficiency Copeland UltraTech scroll compressor, which provides improved temperature and humidity control. This unit is designed for the consumer who desires superb comfort and quiet operation.
In order to achieve the 18 SEER efficiency this central air conditioner must be installed with the manufacturer recommended evaporator coil, a Goodman variable speed furnace, variable speed air handler, or variable speed modular blower and thermostatic expansion valve (TXV). An 18 SEER system will reduce your electric bill approximately 12% - 14% more than a 16 SEER system.

With its ability to work with AC-only systems or with heat pumps and its ability to be installed in both the upflow or downflow orientations, the CAPF3636B6 is designed to be versatile in design and to provide an efficient comfort at a low cost.
The Goodman CAPF3636B6 evaporator coil is rated for a 3 ton output. In many system configurations, this coil may be larger in tonnage than its paired condenser. This is intentional, to maintain the overall efficiency of the entire system.Please note that in order for this coil to function, a furnace or blower and a condenser is required, all sold separately.
The CAPF3636B6 coil is covered under Goodman’s standard 10 year parts warranty when the unit is installed following your state and local codes, the coil is paired with a compatible condenser, and the entire system is registered online through the manufacturer.
The Goodman CAPF3636B6 evaporator coil is able to be installed in upflow and downflow applications. With its rust-resistant, thermoplastic drain plan, water retention rate is significantly lower than previous models. For even more enhanced durability, the cabinet is made of a strong galvanized-steel with a leather-grain finish. If you ever need to perform maintenance on your coil, there is a split-seam on the front of the casing for easy internal access. Please note that this coil will not work as a replacement for any single-piece air handler coils.
The CAPF3636B6 evaporator coil’s foil-faced insulation lowers air leakage, increasing the amount of air flow going into your ductwork, keeping you more comfortable while decreasing the unit’s run time. With compatible equipment, the CAPF3636B6 evaporator coil lives up to Goodman’s enhanced comfort and efficiency standards at a reasonable price.
With a variable speed blower motor and modulating gas valves, the GMVM970603BN is from the best furnace series that Goodman has to offer. At 97% efficient, this furnace has the highest possible efficiency available in today’s technology and offered by Goodman. With an input of 60,000 BTU’s and an efficiency of 97%, the GMVM970603BN has an output of 58,200 BTU’s. This is calculated by taking 60,000 BTU’s times the efficiency of 97%.
