The GVXC200241 condenser is a 2 ton AC-only unit. In an ideal climate situation, the GVXC200241 can usually cover a smaller house. For this unit to function, an indoor air handler or coil is required, and this unit has no heating capacity on its own.
The Goodman GVXC200241 AC condenser is designed to be 20 SEER1. This is the highest SEER1-rated Goodman air conditioner on the market, providing incredible energy savings compared to any other traditional SEER1 condenser.
The GVXC200241 is built with Smart Speed™ technology, which automatically adjusts the speed of the compressor and condensing fan motor based on your cooling demand – full, 100% capacity for extreme temperatures, and reduced capacity for milder days. Air conditioners with Smart Speed™ technology may lower your energy costs when compared to a single-speed unit that only runs at 100% on or 100% off.
To make using it even easier, the GVXC200241 is compatible with ComfortBridge™ Technology, which continuously monitors system performance for customized indoor comfort, as well as the CoolCloud™ HVAC app, which enables qualified technicians to connect, configure and diagnose select HVAC systems quickly and accurately.
In addition to all the features the GVXC200241 boasts, it comes equipped with ComfortAlert™ Diagnostics - an advanced diagnostic system that constantly monitors your full system, reducing failures and pinpointing problem spots for quick fixes. The internal coil is also protected by a heavy-gauge, galvanized steel enclosure cabinet, layered with an appliance-quality, post-paint, baked enamel finish to protect itself from outdoor elements.
The Goodman brand always has its customer's comfort in mind. Because sound is a typical concern, the GVXC200241 comes equipped with an acoustically-engineered sound control blanket to help reduce operational noise, making it less noticeable while in use.
