- Very nice unit - not a difficult install - excellent instructionsI self-installed the unit using the downloaded installation and operation documents. Requires a vacuum pump, adapters to connect vacuum pump to outdoor unit, small torque wrench (for the quarter inch line), large torque wrench (for the 5/8" line), crow-foot flare wrenches, 3" hole saw for the wall, plus patience and confidence. This is my second self-install of a heat pump; I just read the instructions multiple times highlighting pertinent areas, took my time, and walked myself through every step before implementing. Document and photograph every step of the way for future reference. Unit is quiet and keeps the separate 860 square foot garage temperature stable even with outdoor temperatures in the triple-digits. After two weeks of use, I am quite happy with the unit.
Excellent service by HVACDirect. Two small issues (faulty disconnect box and incorrect lines delivered) were immediately and satisfactorily rectified. I wish all companies were this responsive.

- No issuesI just had the Mini-Split installed
on July 12 , 2023 . It is working very well , it is at our camp in central Pa.. The camp is 900 sq.ft. and the single 24000btu unit takes care of all 3 rooms.
We are very pleased with HVAC DIRECT, the units were delivered with no problems . The installer had no issues and I will be recommending HvacDirect to my friends .Posted on
- Very helpfulChris was very helpful in working through a faulty outdoor unit. Eventually I received a new unit. Though weather has not allowed me to replace it yet, I assume my problem will be solved with the new unit.
