- Great product, install level medium.Installed a 2 zone system in my beach cottage and it was fairly straight forward install, definitely took longer than I expected but taking the extra time to double and triple check measurements and location of the units was well worth it. The equipment itself is well made and I really like the design except for one thing. The USB port access for the smart HVAC dongle has a very stubborn cover that is difficult to remove without cracking the plastic lock tab. I broke it on one and got lucky with the second one. This could definitely be made a little bit better. It didn’t affect the function of it and I was able to close it back up ok, but hated that I cracked off a piece of a brand new machine. I have been able to test both the heat and AC function and so far so good. Love that I can control it from the app when I’m not at the house since I live 2 hours away. Overall a great product and price and HVAC direct was very easy to deal with and answered quickly when I had questions about separate shipping of some of the components. Thanks!
