At an output of 4 to 5 tons, the Goodman CAPT4961C4 evaporator coil is ready for almost any vertical application that matches that output need. In entire system configurations, the coil will be either larger or the same size as the condenser’s tonnage. As such, the tonnages of the coil and the condenser may be different in order to maintain the unit’s efficiency. Please note that for this coil to function, a furnace or blower and a condenser is required, all sold separately. This coil is not designed to replace a coil in a single-piece air handler.
The CAPT4961C4 coil is covered under Goodman’s standard 10 year parts warranty when the unit is installed following your state and local codes, the coil is paired with a compatible R410A condenser, and the entire system is registered online through the manufacturer.
The Goodman CAPT4961C4 vertical evaporator coil is designed with aluminum tubing and fin coils, lowering wear and tear on the unit. The coil also comes with a TXV kit factory-installed, making it one less thing for your installer to have to install, lowering installation costs. For easier maintenance access, the front of the coil’s durable cabinet has a split-seam.

The GC9C800805CX Goodman gas furnace is 80,000 BTU’s. This BTU count is a measure of the input of the furnace per hour, while the output of this furnace is 64,000 BTU’s (80,000 X 80% AFUE) per hour. In ideal climate conditions, this 80,000 BTU furnace is usually used to heat a medium house.
The GC9C800805CX Goodman gas furnace is 80% efficient, and the standard furnace efficiency on the market today. This means that 80% of the gas going into the furnace is used to heat your home and the remaining 20% is lost out of the flue venting. Please note that all 80% furnaces must be vented using metal flue venting, while anything higher than 90% efficient must be vented using plastic/PVC venting.
In California, many counties have a lower NOx emission requirement than the rest of the United States. The GCVC800803BX Goodman gas furnace is California Low NOx compliant. With a built-in low emission filter, this Goodman gas furnace produces less nitrogen oxides to be released into the atmosphere, lowering the overall amount of toxic greenhouse gases output of the average California home. Please note that this furnace cannot be installed in the following counties in California: Fresno, Joaquin, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, Madera, Merced, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Stanislaus, and Tulare. The GC9C800805CX Goodman gas furnace is a two stage furnace that has two heating outputs on the burner: full output on colder winter days and a lower output for milder days that the furnace doesn’t have to run quite as much. Two stage furnaces allow for a more even heat distribution, as the furnace will only kick on the higher stage if the indoor temperature is more than a few degrees away from the desired temperature. Since the lower stage will be used more often, the GC9C800805CX will run quieter than a single stage system. While the majority of the benefits of a two stage feature on a furnace are comfort based, the efficiency of the furnace is slightly higher due to it burning less fuel at its lower stage.
From the factory, the GC9C800805CX runs on natural gas. However all Goodman gas furnaces can be converted to propane using the furnace’s corresponding LP conversion kit, an optional accessory at an additional cost that consists of a replacement set of orifices and springs.
Instead of the last generation PSC blower motor, the GC9C800804BX utilizes a 9-speed ECM motor, which uses less power and provides smarter air circulation. All of this causes an overall increase in the electrical efficiency of your furnace, which saves you money.

The GSXN3N4210 condenser is a 3.5 ton AC only unit. In an ideal climate situation, the GSXN3N4210 can usually cover a medium-sized house. For this unit to function, an indoor air handler or coil is required, and this unit is cooling only with no heating capacity on its own.
The Goodman GSXN3N4210 AC condenser is designed to be 13.4 SEER2. This is the lowest efficiency on the market today, making it an inexpensive option for northern states. Please note that this product is regulated by DOE Efficiency Standards.
Due to new efficiency requirements, this unit cannot be installed in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
The GSXN3N4210 condenser comes with Goodman's standard 10 year parts warranty with online registration through the manufacturer. An installation that follows your state and local codes is required for the warranty to be upheld.
With an enhanced copper tube and aluminum fin coil, the GSXN3N4210 is designed to prevent coil degradation. With the baked-on powder-paint finish, the condenser's heavy-gauge galvanized-steel cabinet is approved for up to 500 hours of salt-spray.
