The RunTru by Trane A951X080BU4SA is an inexpensive model of furnace to provide reasonable comfort to your home. At a basic efficiency, this furnace will heat your home adequately with the right output, providing comfort to your home even in the coldest parts of the year.

The RunTru by Trane A951X080BU4SA has an input of 80,000 BTU. The output of the unit, determined by the input times the efficiency, is 76,000 BTU. This output makes this furnace suitable for most medium-sized houses in average climate conditions.
95% AFUE
With one of the highest efficiency ratings available, the RunTru by Trane A951X080BU4SA is 95% efficient. The 95% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 95% of it is used to heat your home while the remaining 5% is lost out the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All 90% or higher furnaces require plastic/PVC venting, and if you need it to be metal venting a furnace with an efficiency of 80% is required. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit, available at an additional cost.
Warranty
RunTru by Trane offers 10 year parts and 20 year heat exchanger limited warranties. Please note that in order for the heat exchanger and parts warranties to be upheld, the unit must be registered through the manufacturer within 90 days of installation. The installation must also follow your state and local codes.

3 Tons
The RunTru by Trane A5AC3036A1 air conditioner condenser has an output of 3 tons, generally enough to cool up to a medium size house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Please note that this condenser cannot function or provide any sort of heating on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. If you have any questions, please contact us.
13.4 SEER2
The RunTru by Trane A5AC3036A1 air conditioner condenser is rated at 13.4 SEER2, making it between 5-7% more efficient than former 13 SEER1 units, saving you money in electric bills over the entire lifetime of your unit.
This unit (and all 13.4 SEER2 units) cannot be shipped or installed in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Warranty
RunTru by Trane offers a 10 year compressor, outdoor coil, and parts warranty on this condenser. For these warranties to be upheld, the unit must be installed following your state and local codes, a new and certified evaporator coil must be installed at the same time, and the entire system must be registered online through the manufacturer.
Durability
The cabinet of RunTru by Trane units are extremely durable. On the A5AC3036A1, there are reinforced corner posts and the internals of the unit are protected by an additional inlet grille, all to provide enhanced protection to the unit.
Disclaimer: This condenser contains R454B refrigerant, which is classified as an A2L refrigerant. To comply with safety standards, this unit must be paired with an R454B air handler or evaporator coil equipped with a leakage detection system. The RunTru by Trane 5MXCB004AC6HCA is rated for 1.5 to 3 tons of heating and cooling. With its ability to be installed with either an AC-only condenser or a heat pump condenser, this unit is ideal for many applications. In some packages, this coil will be larger than its paired condenser, which will increase the overall efficiency of the entire unit, but the coil should never be smaller than its paired condenser. Please note that this item cannot operate independently from a compatible condenser and blower or furnace, each available at an additional cost.
Warranty
RunTru by Trane offers a 10 year parts warranty on their coils when they are installed following your state and local codes, as well as the system is paired with a certified system matchup. Please note that in order to obtain the entire length of this warranty, the entire unit must be registered through the manufacturer.

- Awesome Supplier to Buy fromI was a bit skeptical to buy a furnace online and have it delivered due to potential shipping damage concerns. I ordered the A951X080BU4SA on Friday morning and received it Tuesday afternoon, strapped to pallet, in perfect undamaged condition. Wow, that was fast! HVAC Direct also has a good protocol, that I followed, for inspecting and noting condition of delivered equipment before delivery driver leaves (very happy with SAIA company & driver BTW). Jeff from HVAC was awesome to work with me and answer my questions both technical and non. Price is great and I will be buying from them again!

This furnace is much lighter construction but it's doing a great job.

- It's off to a great start!The RunTru V9562A, specifically the 2stage 80k BTU, is really a solid furnace, FYI, I am only using it for a furnace, summer isn't hot enough for anything else. It has the Trane brand behind it, and it shows. I replaced a Lennox(80k btu 80%) that came with our new house, it was so old im not sure how it was still running, but once I got this installed, and calibrated(key with two stages), it's a powerhouse. The only time it's ever hit 100% was when I was setting the 2nd stage w.c.
It keeps up nicely and the instructions are clear and to the point. The blower is loud though, as I would imagine this wouldn't be a issue in a basement set up, however I live on a slab,so little to no return ductwork(yet). Overall, this is a great furnace, and if you use a nest, you can see it keeps up nicely. Since I installed it, the average is between the teens, dipping to single or negatives at night, but it stays right on temp. It only need to run 4(maybe 5) an hour for roughly 6-8 minutes, then it hits the temp and the enhanced blower option slows the fan down gradually to help cool it down, which helps ease out of operation mode.Posted on
