At a rated capacity of 30,000 BTU, the output of the ACIQ-30ZS-HP230C when paired with a matching air handler can easily cover a larger space in ideal climates. Thanks to the unit's high-efficiency rotary compressor and an inverter-integrated motor, the ACIQ-30ZS-HP230C has an efficiency of 20 SEER2. With such a high system SEER rating, the system can heat and cool almost any space suitable for its output much more efficiently than most standard central split systems.
Please note that this model of equipment does not have quick connect line set connectors and is not a DIY unit. Installation materials such as line sets, control wire, drain hose, whip and disconnect are not included, but are available at additional cost in the Accessories section on this page. You will need a professional to add more refrigerant and vacuum the lines as needed. The automated cleaning function will clean your system, but it is recommended to periodically clean the unit's filters manually.

- Best for the moneyPerfect unit for my garage. Qualifies for the tax credit that is expiring end of 2025. Worked perfectly. The connections for the communication wire to the indoor unit were ridiculous and apparently using a spade male connector would have made this easier but be aware fitting wire into those connections is stupid. Wifi app worked immediately. Customer support from hvacdirect was great. Now hoping to not have any issues for a long time with this unit!
