- Good Equipment, bad advertising.An TVA $800 rebate is shown to be available for this condenser. What's not shown is you have to buy the exact matching air handler so the system will have an exact AHRI system rating. The current air handler I have (Carrier FE4A) is the exact same air handler as the matching ACIQ air handler and is in perfect condition. The product data indicates the ACIQ air handler is "rebadged" Carrier equipment and even uses the Carrier model number instead of the ACIQ model number in one part of it. But that wasn't convincing enough for the "independent" reviewer hired by TVA to allow for the rebate. How "sustainable" is that?! I would have to throw away a perfectly good piece of equipment and replace it with the same thing. I was justifying the paying the increased cost of this equipment with the rebate and the "possible" tax refund but now that is in question.
