Closed Until MondayThe ACiQ R4A5S60AKAWA is a standard AC-only condenser. Designed with comfort in mind and an inexpensive but higher-than-standard efficiency option for nearly any application, this condenser is considered a good all-around option for almost any application.
The ACiQ R4A5S60AKAWA air conditioner condenser has an output of 5 tons, generally enough to cool up to a medium-sized house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Please note that this condenser cannot function or provide any sort of heating on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. If you have any questions, please contact us.
The ACiQ R4A5S60AKAWA air conditioner condenser is rated at 13.8 SEER2, making it between 5-7% more efficient than standard 13.4 SEER2 units, saving you money in electric bills over the entire lifetime of your unit.
ACiQ offers a 10 year parts warranty on this condenser. For these warranties to be upheld, the unit must be installed following your state and local codes, a new and certified coil must be installed at the same time, and the entire system must be registered online through the manufacturer.
The cabinet of ACiQ units are extremely durable. On the R4A5S60AKAWA, there are reinforced corner posts and the internals of the unit are protected by an additional inlet grille, all to provide enhanced protection to the unit.
Owners report reliable cooling performance, including maintaining indoor temperatures within 1°F of the thermostat setting, cutting electricity bills by 20% or even in half, and running in cycles of about 15–17 minutes on and 7 minutes off during 100°F heat, with one system operating without issues for 3 years and another after 4 months of use. Buyers note quiet operation, straightforward installs ranging from a weekend DIY that saved over $6,000–$7,000 compared to $8,800 contractor quotes, but some received units with bent fins, dented coils, missing parts, or tracking difficulties that required follow-up support or replacements within 3 days.
