The Goodman CAPT4961C4 evaporator coil is ready for any vertical installation that you need it for. With a built-in TXV kit for efficiency, the CAPT4961C4 lives up to Goodman’s expectations to provide an enhanced comfort with a superior efficiency, all while staying within your budget. If you want the best possible coil for your home, this is it.
At an output of 4 to 5 tons, the Goodman CAPT4961C4 evaporator coil is ready for almost any vertical application that matches that output need. In entire system configurations, the coil will be either larger or the same size as the condenser’s tonnage. As such, the tonnages of the coil and the condenser may be different in order to maintain the unit’s efficiency. Please note that for this coil to function, a furnace or blower and a condenser is required, all sold separately. This coil is not designed to replace a coil in a single-piece air handler.
The CAPT4961C4 coil is covered under Goodman’s standard 10 year parts warranty when the unit is installed following your state and local codes, the coil is paired with a compatible R410A condenser, and the entire system is registered online through the manufacturer.
The Goodman CAPT4961C4 vertical evaporator coil is designed with aluminum tubing and fin coils, lowering wear and tear on the unit. The coil also comes with a TXV kit factory-installed, making it one less thing for your installer to have to install, lowering installation costs. For easier maintenance access, the front of the coil’s durable cabinet has a split-seam.
The Goodman CAPT4961C4 vertical evaporator coil’s built-in TXV kit provides a significant increase in refrigerant control, increasing the overall efficiency of the entire system and providing a more precise temperature output to make you more comfortable in your home. On top of that, the coil has a mold-resistant, thermoplastic drain pan set that lowers potentially dangerous particle buildup. All of these features allow the CAPT4961C4 to live up to the Goodman quality name.
The Goodman GSX130601 is a cooling-only condenser unit. Providing a 13 SEER efficiency with a single stage, reciprocating compressor, the GSX130601 is an inexpensive condenser to cool your home when paired with an AC coil.
The GSX130601 condenser is a 5 ton AC only unit. In an ideal climate situation, the GSX130601 can usually cover a larger house. For this unit to function, an indoor air handler or coil is required, and this unit is cooling only with no heating capacity on its own.
The Goodman GSX130601 AC condenser is designed to be 13 SEER. This is the lowest efficiency on the market today, making it an inexpensive option for northern states. Please note that this product is regulated by DOE Efficiency Standards.
Due to new efficiency requirements, this unit cannot be installed in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
The GSX130601 condenser comes with Goodman's standard 10 year parts warranty with online registration through the manufacturer. An installation that follows your state and local codes is required for the warranty to be upheld.
With an enhanced copper tube and aluminum fin coil, the GSX130601 is designed to prevent coil degradation. With the baked-on powder-paint finish, the condenser's heavy-gauge galvanized-steel cabinet is approved for up to 500 hours of salt-spray. The factory-installed filter dryer lowers general wear-and-tear on the unit. All of these features provide you with a durable, reliable condenser to be used whenever you need to cool your home.
The Goodman GSX130601 AC condenser comes standard with service valves that have sweat connections and easy-access gauge ports, both providing a lower installation difficulty and time to lower installation costs. The outer casing has both a top and a side access to allow for easier maintenance and warranty access when necessary.
