- Good Product but bewareThe Daikin Oterra 12000 BTU was shipped quickly, however it arrived with dent and packaging was quite beat up.
Customer Service was very friendly and helpful to solve this situation.
Installation went well.
Buyers need to be aware that self installation will void the Daikin warranty completely. I am not sure I would have bought this unit had I known that I won’t have a warranty on parts. HVACDIRECT website is not clear on this issuePosted on
- Very goodWent together smoothly. Written instructions were concise and in nice clear language. I am a recent convert to flared fittings, moving away from pre-charged lines. I have had problems with the "quick" fittings on the pre-charged lines. But this approach does mean you need a vacuum pump and nitrogen, etc., so it's not quite as mass-market. I will buy Daikin systems again for sure.
