Enhanced Comfort at Maximum Efficiency

The ACiQ-48-AHB air handler features a variable DC blower and communicating technology to maximize comfort and efficiency at the same time. The included smart thermostat communicates with the inverter condenser outside, and the variable air handler inside, allowing the system to self-adjust BTU output to maximize efficiency while providing ideal comfort. The air handler efficiently distributes heated and cooled air throughout your home by attaching to your existing ductwork.

  • 48,000 BTU, 4 ton central ducted air handler
  • Wired smart thermostat included
  • Or – use your preferred 24v thermostat
  • Variable DC blower
  • Upflow, downflow, horizontal left or right
  • Manufactured Home and mobile home approved

Installation and Maintenance

Installation is very similar to installing any replacement air handler. Your technician will make electrical, refrigerant, thermostat and communication connections, plus, connect to your return and supply ductwork. The ACiQ Central Ducted Air Handler is multi-positional (upflow, downflow or horizontal) and mobile-home approved. Any 24V thermostat with 2 stages of heating can control the system, although the supplied thermostat is recommended. You can add electric strip heat as a backup system for the coldest days of the year. The intelligent control board in the air handler displays fault codes in case part of the system requires maintenance.

Please note - in order to function as a heat pump, this air handler must be installed with a condenser and other installation equipment, available at an additional cost if not already included in this product bundle. To use straight electric heating, an electric heater coil is necessary and is also available at an additional cost.

Customer Questions
Who makes ACiQ?
ACiQ is made by one of the largest HVAC manufacturers in the world. With 150,000 employees in over 195 countries, their products improve the lives of millions of people around the globe. Their manufacturing is state of the art, with robotic assembly and computer assisted quality control. ACiQ has an extremely low rate of warranty return. With the features, performance and price it's the best value you can get on a mini split.
Is ACiQ better than Mitsubishi?
Mitsubishi makes great equipment, certainly. They were first to sell mini splits in the US, and they have a solid reputation. Yet ACiQ has higher SEER ratings, longer warranty, and extreme weather performance all the way down to -22! You can spend more on a mini split, but you can't get better value.
Who owns ACiQ?
1HVAC Energy is part of a family of companies with 80 years in the industry and a long reputation of putting customers first. They own ACiQ as well as a number of other quality brands.
Who will service it if something goes wrong?
You get lifetime phone support with every ACiQ mini split. Many problems can be handled by our experts without having to call in a serviceperson. If you need a serviceperson, ACiQ shares a manufacturer with Carrier mini splits. This means that highly trained technicians across the country are very familiar with these units.
