55,000 BTU, 21.3 SEER2

The 55,000 BTU, ES-55Z-M5 is designed to easily support up to 4 air handlers at up to 1.25 times the condenser BTU rating, or 68,750 BTU across all air handlers. This adaptive, inverter condenser is constantly self-adjusting to provide the precise amount of heating or cooling needed to maintain your desired temperature in each room or zone. You can set different temperatures room by room, even turn off heating and cooling in unused areas. This, combined with a high efficiency rating of 21.3 SEER2, means you are buying a system designed to intelligently save you money both up front and over the lifetime of the unit.

Although the condenser is pre-charged, please note that this model of equipment does not have quick connect line set connectors and is not a self-install unit. You will need a professional to add more refrigerant and vacuum the lines as needed. Installation materials such as line sets, control wire, drain hose, whip and disconnect are not included, but are available at additional cost in the Accessories section to the right of this text. For all multi zone ACiQ condensers, a minimum of two air handlers is needed for the unit to function.

Mini Split systems are great, but what if you don't want the air handler on your wall? ACiQ offers the ACIQ-24CC-HH-MB ceiling cassette air handler for customers who want a more hidden appearance and more centralized air distribution. Ceiling Cassette air handlers provide the same high-efficiency heating and cooling of a regular wall-mounted unit, and come with an included hand-held remote control. Once the ceiling cassette is mounted in the ceiling, only the grille is visible for the most understated appearance.

Installation Considerations

Ceiling Cassettes are flush-mounted, which requires removal of enough ceiling material to create a cavity for the unit. The 24k Ceiling cassette is large format (see specs below) and will require modifications to ceiling framing in most cases. Additionally, Ceiling Cassettes have factory-installed, onboard pumps to lift the condensation produced by the unit during cooling. The pump can lift the condensation up to 14. From there, it will be necessary to construct a PVC drain system to route the condensation to a safe wastewater location. Refrigerant and wiring connections are the same as the wall mounted units.

E Liteis a plastic pad designed as a mounting base for air conditioning condensers. The rugged design provides uniform and generous ribbing for optimum, self-leveling ground support without inserts. E Lite is injection molded from polypropylene, resulting in a pad that is lightweight, but not too light. A subtle texture prevents unit slide and presents a classic appearance, which is enhanced by rounded edges and a concrete gray color. Each pad is molded with its size in raised letters.

This wall mount bracket is perfect for outdoor condensers. The length of the wall bracket arms are 30" long. The condensing unit is mounted onto the L-shaped brackets and fastened using bolts and anti-vibration washers (not included with brackets).
