ACiQ Floor Mounted air handlers are ideal for sun porches and attic rooms where space to mount a standard high wall unit is not available. Sometimes called a heat console type air handler, these units surface mount low on the wall, near or on the floor. The shape is wider, taller and slightly shallower than the high wall unit. These are ideal for sun porches where the only wall space is below windows, or attic remodels with knee-walls, where vertical high walls may not be available.
Like a high wall mount, these units take in return air at the top edge and deliver it at the bottom. This is ideal for heating. By delivering warm air at floor level, stratification due to heat rise is eliminated. When you put the unit into cooling mode, the airflow direction is reversed for better air mixing in the room.
ÂNote: The 18k and 24k are slightly different in appearance from the 12k, and can be surface mounted on the floor. Please see the appropriate manual for your model.
The 30,000 BTU (2.5 Ton)Choose Ducted Multi Zone when you need to create a system with a central, ducted air handler plus other wall mounts, ceiling cassettes, concealed duct or ceiling/ floor units. You can even create a zoned system with two separately controlled air handlers connected to a single condenser outside. Connections are made just as with mini split style air handlers – with the indoor unit getting power from the outdoor component. You only need a separate circuit for optional backup electric heat. This air handler also matches to Platinum Series Single Zone condensers. The unit comes with an included wall-mount controller, and a remote control for use during setup. Now you can create the perfect system using a combination of ducted and ductless air handlers, all while enjoying the maximum comfort and savings of ACiQ.
Provides simple and secure mounting for small and large piping systems, ductwork runs, cable trays and smaller equipment such as condensers. Linear track offers adjustable mounting. Manufactured from exterior grade materials.

The ACiQ-18FM-HH-MB and ACiQ-24FM-HH-MB creatively solve various installation issues.
Unlevel Surfaces: The pitch of the roof is often reflected indoors as well, providing angled surfaces that make mounting traditional air handlers impossible. This system uses threaded rod to allow the air handler to be level, even when the walls are not. The threaded rod can be adjusted to accommodate all geometry angles, allowing the system to touch the ceiling or hang several feet below it
Uninsulated Roofs: The cassette and concealed duct air handler systems want at least a foot of space between the ceiling and the roof, this unit can work with a gap as small as one inch, which is what you often see with metal buildings and 3 season rooms. The air handler will be located near the edge of the room, blowing towards the opposite edge of the room, which is different than a cassette system, that blows air in all directions and is located in the center of a room. Sun Rooms: The air handler is actually mounted directly to the wall, fitting perfectly under the windowsill, elevated about 2 inches from the floor, even thou this is referred to as a floor mounted air handler, there is no need to drill or modify the floor as all connections can go thru the wall. Perfect for rooms that are mostly windows, these units pull air from the bottom and blow the air upwards, allowing heating the room in winter and automatically shutting off when the large windows are opened during the summer with the optional door-open sensor.
Floor Installation: The unit can be mounted to the floor when drilling holes into the wall is highly undesirable, as it common with brick/marble surfaces. The refrigerant/electrical/drain line can be run thru the floor and entirely hidden from view. The system is pre-wired for a 240vac condensate pump with over-flow shutoff connections.
Note: The 18k and 24k are slightly different in appearance from the 12k, and can be surface mounted on the floor or ceiling. Please see the appropriate manual for your model.

Mini Split systems are great, but what if you don't want the air handler on your wall? ACiQ offers the ACIQ-24CC-HH-MB ceiling cassette air handler for customers who want a more hidden appearance and more centralized air distribution. Ceiling Cassette air handlers provide the same high-efficiency heating and cooling of a regular wall-mounted unit, and come with an included hand-held remote control. Once the ceiling cassette is mounted in the ceiling, only the grille is visible for the most understated appearance.
Ceiling Cassettes are flush-mounted, which requires removal of enough ceiling material to create a cavity for the unit. The 24k Ceiling cassette is large format (see specs below) and will require modifications to ceiling framing in most cases. Additionally, Ceiling Cassettes have factory-installed, onboard pumps to lift the condensation produced by the unit during cooling. The pump can lift the condensation up to 14. From there, it will be necessary to construct a PVC drain system to route the condensation to a safe wastewater location. Refrigerant and wiring connections are the same as the wall mounted units.
Flush-mounted Ceiling Cassettes offer the most understated appearance of any ductless air handler type. They can be centrally located in the room, and deliver conditioned air in all four directions, with return air being brought in through the center. Ceiling Cassettes include a factory installed condensation pump.
