FAQ's

Customer Questions

Venting specs in Canada?

The unit heater will have a 4" flue collar to attach the venting. As for what Canada requires, every province and territory will have different requirements for what is acceptable to use in your area. Please check with your area's building code department. If you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you.

Can an ADP heater be hung upside down?

The ADP UHRS may be rotated 180 degrees top for bottom to change gas, electrical and flue positions. Hanging brackets may be installed on either the top or bottom of the unit. If you have any further questions, please feel free to give us a call! Thanks.

What type of venting do these unit heaters require? B-vent or PVC?

These units require Category I (B-vent) for vertical venting through the roof, or Category III for venting horizontally through side walls. The exhaust on these units exceeds a temperature that would allow for PVC Venting. If you have any further questions, please feel free to give us a call. Thanks!
