Austin Air HealthMate Jr. Machine - Black

The Austin Air HealthMate Jr. in Black is the compact version of Austin Air's original air cleaner, using the same four-stage filter design in a smaller cabinet. Coverage runs up to 700 sq. ft. at two air changes per hour, or roughly 300 sq. ft. at four changes per hour, making it a fit for bedrooms, nurseries, offices, and apartments.

The 360-degree intake draws air through perforated grilles on every side of the cabinet and into four stages: a large particle pre-filter for dust, hair, and pet dander, a medium particle pre-filter for pollen, mold, and spores, over 6.5 lbs. of granular activated carbon and zeolite for gases and odors, and 30 sq. ft. of true medical grade HEPA for sub-micron particles.

Operation is a manual 3-speed dial at 50, 100, or 200 CFM. The unit weighs about 18 lbs. so it can be carried room to room, and the filter pack is engineered for up to five years of normal residential use. Assembled in Buffalo, New York.
