Is there a standard surround that comes stock with stove?
How wide is the whole shroud around the stove?

Is the picture shown with the surround? And does it come with any flue pipe flex?

Does this come with an ash pan?
This unit does not contain an ash pan, however, on pages 20 & 21 in the installation manual provides instructions on how to properly remove ash from the the stove. "Empty ashes from the inner section and scrape with cleaning tool; make sure holes are not plugged. Vacuum to remove ashes from the burn chamber interior and the burnpot shell." A special cleaning tool is provided with the stove.
