It had a buck 18 for 10 years with know problems, then stepped up to the buck 74 insert for 5 years now i have a 2440 sqft house and I’m extremely satisfied it does not matter how cold it is outside that heater keeps us good and warm. I recommend this Company and product highly

have been using one for about 10 years now and am extremely happy and warm seeing how my heat pump is primarily efficient only down to 40 degrees. good piece of mind when power goes out too. only problem was when blower motor needed to be replaced, the replacement didn't come with sound/vibration cushioning material so i elected to leave blower motor out and have used a tilted house fan instead.

The customer has the freedom to choose who installs their purchased product. This allows the customer to choose an installer that best fits their needs at a price that works for them. Is the 74z zero clearance insert available now?

Will this stove qualify for the 26% tax credit? On your website it says 78% but the Buck stove website says 73%.

Unfortunately we had a typo on the efficiency of this Buck Stove Model 74-ZC. The efficiency rating of this stove is 73% and does not qualify for the tax rebate. However, please check out these Stoves that qualify for the tax rebate. If you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you.

What type of vent duct is required?

This unit takes 6-inch ductwork. We provide stainless steel and pre-insulated chimney liner kit options. Pre-insulated: K5A6PI Stainless Steel: 6DF304K. If you have any other questions please feel free to give us a call! Thanks.
