Some states, cities, and/or municipalities have restrictions around vent-free gas fireplaces. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure you are following all laws and regulations in your area regarding vent-free fireplaces. For example: California does not allow vent-free appliances, Colorado does not allow vent-free appliances in some areas due to altitudes, and Massachusetts does not allow vent-free appliances in bedrooms or bathrooms.
Measuring your fireplace for gas logs is easy, all you need is a tape measure, a piece of paper and a writing utensil.
*NOTE: If the firebox floor inside the fireplace is raised taller than the floor in front of the opening, measure from the floor inside of the fireplace to top of the opening.
Confirm the measurements of your fireplace exceed the minimum fireplace dimensions listed in the Minimum Fireplace Dimensions in the specifications section, the Minimum Fireplace Dimensions Image, or installation manual.
