The Canarm ADD Series Direct Drive Wall Fan assembly consists of a direct-drive motor, cast aluminum airfoil or polyamide glass-reinforced (PAG) propeller blades, heavy-gauge steel fan panel with a deep-spun and flared venturi, and heavy-gauge welded steel motor supports.
Safety Features
- Secure Installation: Mount the fan in a properly framed wall opening with adequate structural support and suitable fasteners to safely support its weight.
- Electrical Safety: Have a qualified electrician complete all wiring in accordance with applicable national, state, and local electrical codes.
- Rotating Component Protection: Keep hands, tools, and objects away from the rotating propeller. Install appropriate protective guards when the fan is mounted less than 7 feet (2 meters) above floor or ground level.
- Verify Electrical Voltage: Confirm that the motor nameplate voltage matches the available electrical supply before connecting the fan.
- Protect Electrical Wiring: Route and secure wiring away from the rotating propeller and other moving components to prevent contact or damage.
- Safe Operating Environment: Do not install or operate the fan in areas containing combustible materials, gases, or fumes unless the unit is specifically designed for that application.
- Routine Maintenance: Disconnect power before servicing. Regularly inspect the propeller, mounting hardware, electrical connections, and other components for wear or damage.
Warranty Information
CANARM Ltd. provides a 1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, CANARM Ltd. may, at its option, repair or replace any unit or part returned freight prepaid and found to be defective.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser-user. It does not cover labor or transportation costs associated with removing or reinstalling the unit. Warranty coverage is void in cases of alteration, accident, abuse, neglect, or operation not in accordance with the instructions. Repaired or replaced components are covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.
