The Daikin RMXS Series 8-Zone Multi-Split system provides a flexible solution for your HVAC needs. You can connect up to eight indoor units to a single outdoor unit, which will reduce the amount of space you need for installation. The RMXS Series is compatible with three indoor unit types in a wide range of capacities, so you can tailor your system to your needs. The RXMS Series also features up to 18.8 SEER and reduces energy uses by 30% or more, lowering your overall energy bill, and it's backed by a 12 year limited warranty.
With ductless mini-split systems, each room can be controlled separately using wireless or wired remotes. The RMXS Series is compatible with Emura, Vista, FTXS, FVXS, FDMQ, and FDXS/CDXS indoor units, allowing you to blend them in almost invisibly with your home's existing furnishings.
FeaturesThe Daikin VISTA ceiling cassette blends design with the comfort you expect from Daikin systems. It fits within the ceiling grid and discreetly mounts into the ceiling itself, so it has a low profile. It boasts high efficiency and comfort. Additional comfort is provided by the unit's draft prevention system and individual louver control, which keeps the air from blowing directly onto your body.
You can increase the efficiency by installing the optional floor and presence sensors, which adjust the temperature in a room based on whether the room is occupied or not. The sensor kit can save up to 20% in cooling and 30% in heating.

The Daikin Navigation Remote Controller can be used to control indoor units using the P1P2 protocol. This control does not need to be powered separately and uses field supplied stranded 18/2 wire.
Up to 16 indoor units can be controlled as a group for large coverage. Two BRC1E73 can be used for a single indoor unit or group as a secondary backup control. Six additional face decals are able to be ordered to hide locked or unnecessary features. The BRC1E73 is backwards comp able with any unit being controlled by the older BRC1E72 control.

The Daikin wireless remote, in white, allows you to control the ceiling cassette air handler from anywhere in the room. Comes with a wall mounted holder so you will always know where to find the remote control. An included signal receiver is installed in a corner of the decorative grille. Cannot be used in conjunction with the BRYQ60A2W sensor kit.
