- Very happyWe removed walls to open up our home and wanted a gas fireplace that could be visible from tgree rooms. I found the three sided ventless fireplace on HVAC Direct when searching online. I also ordered the log set. The mantle came from a different company. It's nice to bump up the thermostat on those chilly days. It heats our 2k aq ft home in minutes! The only drawback is being ventless, there is a little odor from the LP ignition, so we added CO2 detectors to be safe (it's never gone off).
