The Goodman GMEC961004CN furnace features a two stage gas valve and multi-speed blower motor that can be installed in either upflow or horizontal configurations. This furnace also features a X13 blower motor that saves electricity during the heating and cooling months. This direct current motor uses less electricity than the standard multi-speed furnace blower. This furnace also includes a patented aluminized-steel tubular heat exchanger and durable Silicon Nitride Hot Surface Ignition system. These furnaces are run-tested for heating or combination heating and cooling applications. With a heavy-gauge, reinforced, insulated steel cabinet and durable baked enamel finish, this furnace unit can be installed in a variety of locations.
The Goodman GSZ160361 Heat Pump uses the chlorine-free refrigerant R-410A to help prevent damage to the Ozone Layer. This unit is equipped with sound-dampening features to provide operating sound levels are among the lowest in the heating and cooling industry. Using high-quality components, the Goodman GSZ160361 heat pump is rated at 16 SEER and will help reduce energy consumption throughout the life of the system.

- Received QuicklyI received my order pretty quickly and it looks in good condition. We have yet to get the equipment installed because of a monthlong heat wave of temps in the high 90s to 115 so our tech has been quite busy and our current a/c is working well. I dont want to take a tech away from anyone with no a/c. I have the complete system covered and stored in my shop. I would expect to have the heat pump installed by the end of August.

- Functions well, saves money, efficient.I'm a DIYer. I saved thousands installing this unit myself, and will save even more because my energy bill is lower. Delivery was on time, and the packaging and pallet kept the unit protected. I contacted customer support 2x during my installation process and they were very helpful. I took my time installing the unit over several months. I live in the Pacific Northwest and have freezing temperatures at night at many times over the past several months. The furnace worked well kicking in and keeping my home nice and warm.

- I'm glad I added it.This was the first time adding a TXV kit. I was reluctant because you could just leave the unit with the standard set orifice. But, now 7 months later, it's been working fine. It makes sense to put one, just like a thermostat for a car. It makes things run consistent on the output.
