Hartzell Series 41P Fiberglass Backward Curved Centrifugal Fan - 18"

The Series 03P Backward Curved Packaged Centrifugal Fan is manufactured by Hartzell Air Movement and is completely assembled and ready to install upon arrival. Can be operated in clockwise or counter-clockwise direction, determined by the drive side of the fan, and can be set to discharge in any of the eight AMCA standard positions.

The backward curved blades offer non-loading and highly efficient operation, suitable for temperatures up to 250° F. The solid fiberglass FA-Type wheel is constructed of Dow Derakane 510-A vinylester, with a totally encapsulated aluminum core insert. The wheel is one piece, resin transfer molded, without hand lay-up or assembly.

The Series 41P fan housing is constructed of Ashland Hetron 693 polyester resin and glass fiber with 3% antimony trioxide added, achieving a Class I flame spread below 25. All of the fiberglass surfaces are protected with a minimum 10 mil thickness of chemical, flame and ultraviolet resistant resin. The entire housing uses a finishing coat of resin, providing superior protection and smooth airflow. The airstream hardware uses 304 stainless steel, with a fan drive base of epoxy coated steel.

Fan bearings are heavy duty ground and polished carbon steel, with an FRP sleeve, rated for a minimum of 50,000 hours L10 life. The fan V-belt drives are sized for continuous service.

The fan assembly is dynamically balanced at the Hartzell factory prior to shipping and the fans are balanced in accordance with AMCA Standard 204, fan application category BV-3 (comparable to Grade G6.3). Fans are manufactured in accordance with Hartzell's standard quality assurance procedures. Fan performance is based on tests conducted in Hartzell's AMCA accredited laboratory in accordance with the latest revision of AMCA Standard 210 for air performance and AMCA Standard 300 for sound performance.
