Hartzell Series 44M Marine Duty Direct Drive Duct Axial Fan - 16"

The Series 44 Marine Duty Direct Drive Duct Axial Fan is manufactured by Hartzell Air Movement and is completely assembled and ready to install upon arrival. The duct axial propeller is a 6 bladed airfoil design, cast of 319 aluminum in compliance with Federal Specification QQ-A-601E and ASTM B26. The result of many years of research and development, it combines the best features of a vaneaxial propeller and the economic performance of a Hartzell duct fan.

Designed to be rugged, the Series 44 is designed to move large volumes of air at medium static pressures of 1" to 4". Capable of being mounted in any position, from horizontal to vertical, the fan housing features rolled steel flanges with mounting holes, continuously welded to the steel drum enclosure.

The airfoil propeller utilizes a split taper bushing, and prevents aerodynamic stall. The motors are totally enclosed and fan cooled inside the Series 44's fan housing, which is a minimum 1/4" rolled carbon steel, continuously welded in compliance with the AWS D1.1 standard. The fan surface is coated with phosphatized surface preparation and industrial grade air dry enamel paint.

The fan assembly is dynamically balanced at the Hartzell factory prior to shipping and the fans are balanced in accordance with the American National Standards Institute, Std. S2.19-1989 "Balance Quality of Rotating Rigid Bodies," and Grade G6.3. Fans are manufactured in accordance with Hartzell's standard quality assurance procedures. Fan performance is based on tests conducted in Hartzell's AMCA accredited laboratory in accordance with the latest revision of AMCA Standard 210 for air performance and AMCA Standard 300 for sound performance. Fans are licensed to bear the AMCA Certified Air Performance Rating Seal.
