Hartzell 40" 61H Series Heavy Duty Direct Drive Upblast Roof Ventilator, 1160 RPM, 5 HP, 3 Phase

The Series 61H Heavy Duty Direct Drive Upblast Roof Ventilator is manufactured by Hartzell Air Movement and is completely assembled and ready to install upon arrival. The airfoil design propeller is made of cast 319 aluminum, in compliance with Federal Specification QQ-A-601E and ASTM B26, and uses a split taper bushing or clamp block attachment. The propeller is mounted in a high efficiency air seal fan orifice with the smaller diameter ring overlapping the propeller tips.

The fan motor is a totally enclosed air over type with removable windband for ease of maintenance of the motor and drive assembly. Units with fractional motors are permanently lubricated and non-regreasable, while those with integral horsepower motors have regreasable bearings.

The painted housing and stack cap are constructed of a minimum 20 gauge rolled, welded, and galvannealed steel. Built-in butterfly lids open automatically when the unit is on and close weather-tight when the unit is off. The discharge airstream prevents any rain or snow from entering during operation.

The fan assembly is dynamically balanced at the Hartzell factory prior to shipping and the fans themselves are balanced in accordance with AMCA Standard 204, fan application category BV-3 (comparable to Grade G6.3). Fans are manufactured in accordance with Hartzell's standard quality assurance procedures. Fan performance is based on tests conducted in Hartzell's AMCA accredited laboratory in accordance with the latest revision of AMCA Standard 210 for air performance and AMCA Standard 300 for sound performance. Fans are licensed to bear the AMCA Certified Air Performance Rating Seal.
