Hartzell 24" 69 Series Belt Drive Upblast Roof Ventilator, 1750 RPM, 1.5 HP, 3 Phase

The Series 69 Steel Housed Belt Drive Upblast Roof Ventilator is manufactured by Hartzell Air Movement and is completely assembled and ready to install upon arrival. The panel fan propeller is an airfoil design, cast of 319 aluminum alloy in compliance with Federal Specification QQ-A-601E and ASTM B26 and retained on the motor shaft utilizing a split taper bushing or clamp block arrangement.

The Series 69 fan shaft is constructed of ground and polished steel. The self aligning fan bearings are located in a drive compartment on the negative pressure side of the propeller, drawing outside ambient air in and over the belts and bearings. The bearings can be relubricated, and have a minimum L10 life of 50,000 hours. The fans also include variable pitch drive sheaves.

The Series 69 fan housing is made of at least 12 gauge commercial quality carbon steel, continuously welded in compliance with the AWS D1.1 standard. Butterfly shutters built into the housing open when the unit is on and close weather-tight when off. The housing also includes a rolled angle ring welded at the top of the windband for added support.

The fan assembly is dynamically balanced at the Hartzell factory prior to shipping. The fans themselves are balanced in accordance with the American National Standards Institute, Std. S2.19-1989 "Balance Quality of Rotating Rigid Bodies", and Grade G6.3. Fans are manufactured in accordance with Hartzell's standard quality assurance procedures. Fan performance is based on tests conducted in Hartzell's AMCA accredited laboratory in accordance with the latest revision of AMCA Standard 210 for air performance and AMCA Standard 300 for sound performance. Fans are licensed to bear the AMCA Certified Air Performance Rating Seal.
