HPC Push Button Flame Sensing Ignition (FPPK)
With HPCÂ FPPK fire pit burner systems the the safety pilot valve is operated manually using the control knob. To light the fire feature, the control knob for the safety pilot valve is pushed in to allow gas to the pilot. The spark igniter button is then pushed to light the pilot flame. Once the pilot flame is lit, the control knob can be adjusted to control the height of the flame. While the fire pit is running, the thermocouple monitors the pilot flame and acts as a safety shut off.
