- 24k BTU MRCOOLBeen running for a few days. Heavily insulated 1700SF room under my garage, with one wall exposed to the outside but 75% below grade. Boiler fires up during summer to heat domestic hot water and the radiant heat off the pipes had nowhere to go so the room was over 85 degrees. Hardest part of the install was drilling a 3” hole through a 10” concrete wall. For a regular stud wall we could have had this up in a few hours provided your electric hookup is ready to go. Mini split is very quiet - both the outdoor unit and the head on the inside. In one day brought the room from 85 plus down to 70 where I had the thermostat set at. Can’t speak to the endurance of this unit but so far I’m very happy with it - it seems well made. I’d recommend.

- reviewI purchased 12 btu. Installation was ok except the outside wall hanger was not compatible with the unit. The holes would not align and had to drill new holes. The rubber pads were 3" and the rails were 1". Look bad. Not that happy.

- Keeps my garage coolJust installed a 24000 btu unit in my 24x36 hot rod garage with 13 ft ceilings. It took me about 3 days in 95 degree weather to install by myself and it was definitely worth it. The unit easily and quickly got the garage down to 73 degrees with an outside temp of 96 The kit is very complete There are a lot of videos to help guide you on YouTube but make sure to watch a bunch and read the comments because the are not all installed correctly The only complaint I have is the mounting bracket attachment bolt holes are 14” apart when the industry standard for studs is 16” makes it a little bit harder to mount but the bracket is very sturdy. Also I requested a 16ft line instead of 25ft so I would not have to coil the line.
