Reznor EEDU-300, 300,000 BTU Duct Furnace, Natural Gas / Propane Fired, Indoor, Power-Vented - BUILT TO ORDER

The Reznor® EEDU series consists of indoor power-vented duct furnaces designed to improve annual fuel efficiency by up to 25% compared to traditional gravity-vented models. Available in sizes ranging from 75,000 to 400,000 BTUH. They are engineered as heating components for larger air handling systems and offer adjustable temperature rise ranges to accommodate different airflow needs. For reliable and safe operation, each furnace includes an intermittent spark pilot ignition, and a 24-volt gas valve.

Features

  • 300,000 BTU
  • Power venters
  • Customizable features

    • Fuel Adjustments: Choose natural gas or propane for the fuel source. Propane gas option (AA2) requires the addition of burner air shutters (AE2) and spark pilot with lockout (AH3) on the models.
    • Elevation Adjustments: Adjust the unit’s configuration based on the installation’s elevation to help ensure safe and efficient combustion. In the U.S. – Options AB2-6 derated 4% for each 1,000 ft above sea level.
    • Material Upgrades: Options are available to upgrade the heat exchanger, burners, and drip pans to stainless steel. Which is recommended for high-moisture environment or applications with low inlet air temperatures. Factory installed air shutters (AE2) is required for propane fuel type models.
    • Advanced Gas Control Systems: Allows for tailored heating performance ranging from single stage or two—stage valves to sophisticated electronic modulation and multi-stage systems for precise temperature management. Two stage gas control options (AG2, AG3, or AG15) are not available on EEDU75 that is equipped with propane use (AA2).
    • Ignition Preferences: Options to choose between standard intermittent spark pilots or versions with timed lockouts.
    • Electrical and Voltage Options: The HRPD furnace can be configured to match the facility’s power supply with multiple voltage and phase options, including 115V, 208V, and 230V.

Customer Questions
What type of unit is the EEDU series?
The EEDU series is an indoor commercial/industrial energy-efficient, power-vented gas-fired duct furnace designed for ducted systems with a field-supplied air handler. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call!
How does combustion air work on the EEDU?
The unit: Draws combustion air from the space in which it is installed. The unit is not designed for connection to outside combustion air. The EEDU series requires proper combustion and ventilation air per code. Connecting outside combustion air voids the warranty and may cause hazardous operation. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call!
What are the venting requirements?
The EEDU is a power-vented unit and may be vented: Horizontally (recommended for maximum fuel savings) or vertically. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call!
What are the airflow installation requirements?
Must be installed on the positive pressure side of a field-supplied blower, air distribution must be even across the heat exchanger. The CFM must remain within the range listed on the rating plate and bypass ducting may be required if blower CFM exceeds allowable limits. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call!
What are the minimum clearance requirements?
Minimum clearances to combustibles: 6 inches for front, top, and flue connector, 12 inches for sides and bottom, and 29 inches for the rear. Base-mounted units on combustible material require 12 inches minimum clearance, and the base must be noncombustible. If you have any further questions, feel free to give us a call!
