Read our privacy policyThe Rheem RTG-95DVLP-3 is a non-condensing tankless water heater designed for indoor installation and liquid propane (LP) operation. It provides a maximum flow rate of up to 9.5 GPM at a 35°F temperature rise, with a maximum gas input of 199,900 BTU/h and a Uniform Energy Factor (UEF) of 0.82. Its tankless design heats water on demand. Installation and operation must follow Rheem’s model-specific instructions and applicable local codes.
Tankless water heaters are sized by flow rate, measured in gallons per minute (GPM), and temperature rise. Flow rate refers to the amount of hot water the unit can deliver per minute. Temperature rise is the difference between the incoming cold-water temperature and the desired hot-water temperature.
For the Rheem RTG-95DVLP-3, Rheem's RTG-95 series specifications list maximum flow rates of 9.5 GPM at a 35°F temperature rise, 7.4 GPM at a 45°F temperature rise, and 5.0 GPM at a 67°F temperature rise. Available flow rate decreases as the required temperature rise increases. Actual performance depends on incoming water temperature, gas supply, selected water temperature, and operating conditions.
