Does this use a thermister in place of power bulb?

VAL11169 uses a traditional thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) with a remote sensing power bulb, not an electronic thermistor. A TXV regulates refrigerant flow using a refrigerant-filled sensing bulb connected to the valve by a capillary tube, whereas a thermistor is used with an electronic expansion valve (EEV).
