  • Motor Outside the Airstream – Continuous-duty motors are located outside the airstream and are shipped mounted to the fan for convenient installation.

What's Included

Each ACME HA Belt Drive Tubeaxial Fan is furnished with a heavy-duty, all-welded aluminum propeller, belt drive assembly, pillow block bearings, and a continuous-duty motor located outside the airstream. The fan also includes mounting flanges on both ends for installation.

  • Proper Installation – The HA is designed to operate in any position and is furnished with mounting flanges on both ends. Installation must comply with all applicable local and national safety codes, including NEC and NFPA requirements.
  • Rotating Parts Protection – Drive guards are available to enclose the drive assembly and provide protection from rotating parts where required for the installation.
  • Hazardous Environment Protection – The fan must not be installed or operated where flammable gases, vapors, liquids, combustible dusts, or ignitable fibers or flyings are present, unless the fan is specifically designed for that hazardous application.
  • Qualified Installation – The fan should be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements and applicable safety and electrical codes.

Warranty Information

ACME Engineering and Manufacturing Corporation extends a limited warranty to the original purchaser and warrants that its products will be free from original defects in workmanship and materials for 2 years from the date of shipment, provided the products have been properly handled, stored, installed, serviced, maintained, and operated.

The ACME Duplex Split Pillow Block shaft and bearing assembly is covered by a 5-year warranty from the date of shipment. Belts are covered separately by a 1-year warranty from the date of shipment.

The warranty does not apply to products that have been altered or repaired without ACME's authorization, improperly installed, misused, neglected, or subjected to accidents. Components, accessories, parts, or attachments manufactured by other manufacturers are subject to the respective manufacturer's warranty.

The fan features a heavy-duty, all-welded aluminum propeller that is precision balanced to Grade G6.3 according to AMCA 204 for smooth operation. The housing is reinforced with rolled flanges at each end, while the standard acrylic epoxy finish provides a tough, durable surface.

The HA's belt-drive system uses heavy-duty, static-conducting, oil- and heat-resistant V-belts with machined steel or cast-iron sheaves. Permanently lubricated pillow block bearings are resiliently mounted for vibration isolation, and the belt and bearing enclosure is designed to minimize air turbulence. The motor, drives, and bearings are located outside the airstream, providing a durable configuration for commercial and industrial ventilation applications.
