40,000 BTU 96% AFUE Single Stage ACiQ Gas Furnace | 14" Width | Multi-Positional

OVERVIEW

Designed to be a high-efficiency furnace, the ACiQ N95ESN0401410A is a money saving unit to provide heating throughout even the coldest months of the year. With its multi-positional design, this unit is a good all-around choice for nearly any application.

QUICK FACTS

  • 40,000 BTU, 96% AFUE natural gas furnace
  • Generally suitable for up to a small house in ideal applications
  • Multi-positional design can be installed in the upflow, downflow, or horizontal orientations
  • Single stage burner with a multi-speed blower
  • Field-convertible to propane with an optional LP kit
  • On board self-diagnostics
  • Energy Star certified

40,000 BTU, 96% AFUE

The ACiQ N95ESN0401410A has an input of 40,000 BTU. With an efficiency of 96%, this means that the furnace has an output of 38,400 BTU. The 96% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 96% of it is used to heat your home while only 4% is lost out of the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All furnaces at this efficiency (90% and above) requires plastic/PVC flue venting, and if metal flue venting is required for your installation, an 80% efficient furnace would be needed instead. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit, available at an additional cost. Please note that this furnace is not Ultra Low NOx compliant and if shipped to California may be subject to a mitigation fee.

Every ACiQ furnace is designed to keep your family warm and comfortable year after year. Whisper-quiet ECM blower fans, solid construction with thicker sheet metal and
more cabinet insulation give you near-silent operation. From entry level to top-of-the-line, your comfort is the priority.

High Efficiency

ACiQ saves you money up front, but also over time by reducing energy bills. Multi-speed or Variable Speed ECM blowers come in every furnace. Adding options such as high-efficiency secondary heat exchangers, two stage heating, modulating burners and variable blowers all can further reduce your energy bills while increasing comfort.

Santa Fe Ultra70 Whole-Home Ventilating Dehumidifier, 70-pint | R454B

OVERVIEW

The Santa Fe Ultra70 was the first compact whole house ventilating dehumidifier built for tight, low-clearance installs. It removes up to 70 pints of moisture per day and covers homes up to 1,800 square feet, which makes it a strong match for smaller houses, condos, and apartments.

Ducted into your HVAC system, the Ultra70 controls humidity everywhere at once instead of one room at a time. That means no musty basement smell, no clammy upstairs bedrooms, and no conditions that let mold and wood rot get started.

The cabinet measures 12" W x 12" H x 28" L and converts between horizontal and vertical airflow discharge, so it works in mechanical rooms, closets, attics, basements, and crawl spaces alike. Now running R454B refrigerant, it exceeds Department of Energy efficiency standards and is built at Santa Fe's headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin.

Key Features:

  • 70 Pints Per Day – Whole-home moisture control for spaces up to 1,800 sq. ft.
  • Optional Fresh Air Ventilation – Duct outdoor air in to dilute indoor pollutants
  • MERV-13 Filtration – Standard filter captures fine airborne particles
  • Convertible Discharge – Rotate the panel for horizontal or vertical airflow
  • Compact 12" x 12" x 28" Cabinet – Fits where standard units can't
  • R454B Refrigerant – Exceeds DOE efficiency standards
  • 115V / 5.4 Amps – Plugs into a standard grounded outlet
  • Made in Madison, Wisconsin – Heavy-duty steel construction

Customized Installation and Operation

The Ultra70 gives you three ways to install it. Tie it into your existing HVAC system with a dedicated 8" return and a supply connection with backdraft damper. Run it on its own separate ductwork. Or set it freestanding in a basement or crawl space when ducting isn't practical.

Both the return air inlet and supply air outlet use 8" duct collars. The back panel comes configured for horizontal flow through and rotates for vertical flow through with a T20 torx bit, which is what lets the same unit work in an attic, a closet, or under a floor.

Fresh air ventilation is optional and simple to add. A "T" into the inlet duct brings outdoor air into the system to dilute pollutants and maintain normal oxygen levels indoors, and the volume is adjustable with a range of dampers and controls.

  • HVAC Integration – Dedicated return plus ducted supply to the air handler
  • Dedicated Ducting – Runs on its own duct system independent of HVAC
  • Freestanding Operation – Works standalone in basements and crawl spaces
  • Optional Outdoor Air – Ventilation duct T's into the inlet, regulated by dampers and controls
  • Continuous Drain – Gravity drainage, no manual emptying

Warranty Information

Santa Fe warrants the Ultra70 Dehumidifier to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. The unit includes a 5-year limited warranty, with extended coverage on select components. Warranty coverage may vary based on installation, application, and registration requirements. Refer to the manufacturer’s documentation for complete warranty details.

Premium Materials & Construction

Dehumidifiers live in the roughest parts of a house. The Ultra70 is built from heavy-duty steel with components chosen to hold up to damp air, dust, and temperature swings over years of runtime.

Inside, a high-efficiency refrigeration coil, compressor, and fan work together to pull more moisture using about 15% less energy than comparably sized units. The R454B refrigerant charge lowers the environmental impact compared to earlier models while keeping performance where it needs to be.

The MERV-13 filter comes standard and pulls fine particles out of the airstream as the unit works. Vacuum it regularly and swap it every six months. The unit operates between 49°F and 95°F, plugs into a standard 115V grounded outlet at 5.4 amps, and ships with a 9 ft. cord.

Why Choose the Santa Fe Ultra70 Whole House Dehumidifier?

Whole-Home Moisture Control
  • Removes up to 70 pints per day across homes up to 1,800 square feet.
  • Ducted operation treats every room instead of chasing humidity one space at a time.
Fits Where Others Won't
  • Compact 12" x 12" x 28" cabinet handles low-clearance installs.
  • Convertible horizontal or vertical discharge solves tricky duct layouts.
Ventilation and Filtration Built In

  • Standard MERV-13 filter captures fine airborne particles.
Efficiency You Can Measure
  • Exceeds Department of Energy standards with R454B refrigerant.
  • High-efficiency coil, compressor, and fan use roughly 15% less energy than similar units.

Customers Say

Owners report fast shipping often within 3–4 days, straightforward DIY installation, and quiet operation, with models including 60,000 and 80,000 BTU units heating spaces up to 1,700 square feet and in one case running dependably for about 5 years. Many replaced 17–32 year old furnaces and noted quicker warm‑ups and lower gas or electric bills, though some experienced shipping delays of up to three weeks, minor damage, a leaking flexible gas line, a stripped fan screw, or confusion during propane conversion.

Been great so far, fairly simple install. Really happy with it so far. Only issues I had was that it came with the bear air filter housing and they didn't tell me that when I was chatting with them about my order. I ordered the housing separately and ended up with two. Also the flexible gas line I ordered in the install kit leaked badly, you could see a ridge down the flare. Not a big deal though all in all it was good. Got it in about a week, and installed it over the weekend. Efficiency seems great, got this unit to replace my 30 year old broken down furnace.

Purchased a scratch and dent unit, it was dented as advertised when it arrived. Packaging for shipment to me was very well done. Preexisting damage was nothing that affected installation or operation. Has been working for a month now with no issues. Very satisfied.

I got the ACiQ natural gas upflow forced air 80,000 BTU model to replace a failed 20 year old Carrier in my home. I ordered Thursday late afternoon and got it on Monday morning in NJ. I paid for liftgate delivery; the driver brought the unit to my front door. The packaging was fantastic; there were no dents, scratches and damage. Accessories needed to install were all there inside the unit by the blower. The unit is much quieter and simpler design than the one it replaced. It should be easier to maintain. It has been working flawlessly for over a week now. Very happy with my purchase!

The furnace came promptly and it was packaged well so there was no damage. Looking it over, it seems to be good. I won't know how well it works as it is scheduled to be installed for the next heating season. I would buy here again.

Customer Questions
Who makes ACiQ?
ACiQ air conditioning systems, standard heat pumps, and gas furnaces are manufactured by the largest HVAC manufacturer in America, who also happens to be the seller of the nation’s #1 brand. However, because our prices are SO LOW, they will not allow us to mention their name! They must protect their current market share where typical home systems retail between $15,000 to $25,000 for the identical equipment that we let you buy direct for under $3,000. We offer homeowners and contractors the highest quality and best warranty HVAC systems in the industry at the absolute lowest price. With our industry-leading, high-tech ACiQ equipment, your home and your savings just got a whole lot smarter!
What happens if this breaks down?
HVACDirect.com gives you lifetime tech support. Many common problems can be solved with a phone call to us. HVACDirect.com is an authorized dealer of ACiQ, therefore equipment we sell carries the full manufacturer's warranty. The warranty applies to all parts. You have to register the products online in order to extend the warranty to the full 10 years, otherwise the term is 5 years. If a part fails under warranty, you will not pay anything for the replacement part. Should a part fail under warranty, the first step is to have a professional confirm what part needs to be replaced. Then, contact us at customerservice@hvacdirect.com or by calling and asking for customer service.
What happens if it arrives damaged?
If you are present during drop-off and you see obvious signs of damage or rough handling in transit - please ask the driver to wait while you inspect the equipment. If it is damaged badly enough that you believe it can not function, you have the right to refuse the damaged portion of the shipment. If you discover the damage after the driver has left, take photos of the damage and send them to customerservice@hvacdirect.com. Please refer to your order number in the email. This starts the process and one of our representatives will be in touch with you promptly.
How can I find an installer?
It’s easier than you think – the key is to find an independent contractor or small company as opposed to a larger HVAC service. A one or two person outfit will do the work more quickly and cheaply than a bigger company, too. Yelp.com, Thumbtack.com, and Porch.com are websites are designed to help you connect with a professional in your area. You could also place a call to the last professional who did work on your home and see if they have any recommendations.
Is it cheaper to buy a furnace and AC together? (Should I replace my furnace and air conditioner at the same time?)
Remember to factor labor into the budget. Many times the labor can cost as much as the equipment. Therefore, spending a bit more now to replace everything can be less expensive than re-using an older furnace that still works, or putting in a furnace with a plan to ‘add air conditioning later.” By replacing everything at the same time, you will get matching equipment that is all warrantied together. Then you can typically not have to worry about the system for another 15 to 25 years with proper maintenance.
Can this furnace be used with liquid propane?
Yes, but you will need to purchase the liquid propane conversion kit located in the accessories. Yes, but you will need to purchase the liquid propane conversion kit located in the accessories.
