With tons of extra features and a great price, a Trane air conditioning system is the perfect choice for all of your cooling needs for any time of year. All Trane models come with a 10 year parts warranty.
The RunTru by Trane A5AC3036A1 is a standard AC-only condenser. Designed with comfort in mind and an inexpensive but higher-than-standard efficiency option for nearly any application, this condenser is considered a good all-around option for almost any application.
The RunTru by Trane A5AC3036A1 air conditioner condenser has an output of 3 tons, generally enough to cool up to a medium size house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Please note that this condenser cannot function or provide any sort of heating on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. If you have any questions, please contact us.
The RunTru by Trane A5AC3036A1 air conditioner condenser is rated at 13.4 SEER2, making it between 5-7% more efficient than former 13 SEER1 units, saving you money in electric bills over the entire lifetime of your unit.
This unit (and all 13.4 SEER2 units) cannot be shipped or installed in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. For more information about state efficiency requirements, please click here.
RunTru by Trane offers a 10 year compressor, outdoor coil, and parts warranty on this condenser. For these warranties to be upheld, the unit must be installed following your state and local codes, a new and certified evaporator coil must be installed at the same time, and the entire system must be registered online through the manufacturer.
The cabinet of RunTru by Trane units are extremely durable. On the A5AC3036A1, there are reinforced corner posts and the internals of the unit are protected by an additional inlet grille, all to provide enhanced protection to the unit.
Disclaimer: This condenser contains R454B refrigerant, which is classified as an A2L refrigerant. To comply with safety standards, this unit must be paired with an R454B air handler or evaporator coil equipped with a leakage detection system. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in safety hazards and could void the warranty. Please call us at 1-888-557-9206 if you have any questions.
RunTru by Trane takes pride in its ability to provide a high-quality system, including all system components. Leaving no exception, the 5MXCA003AC6HCA multi-positional coil is a superior option for almost any application while maintaining the entire unit's efficiency with a factory-integrated flow control check valve for enhanced energy optimization. With its unique performance features along with its ability to be applied in any orientation, this coil is a superior option for your home's comfort.
The RunTru by Trane 5MXCA003AC6HCA is rated for 1.5 to 3 tons of heating and cooling. With its ability to be installed with either an AC-only condenser or a heat pump condenser, this unit is ideal for many applications. In some packages, this coil will be larger than its paired condenser, which will increase the overall efficiency of the entire unit, but the coil should never be smaller than its paired condenser. Please note that this item cannot operate independently from a compatible condenser and blower or furnace, each available at an additional cost.
RunTru by Trane offers a 10 year parts warranty on their coils when they are installed following your state and local codes, as well as the system is paired with a certified system matchup. Please note that in order to obtain the entire length of this warranty, the entire unit must be registered through the manufacturer.
Thermostatic Expansion Valves (TXVs) are:
Your RunTru by Trane system will operate more precisely and with greater efficiency with a TXV. These valves offer more control over how much liquid refrigerant enters the evaporator coil. The valves only allow a precise amount of liquid into the evaporator coil to ensure that all liquid that enters fully evaporates. This prevents too little liquid from entering the evaporator making the system run less efficiently. It also prevents too much liquid from entering the evaporator which can cause excess liquid in the suction line. Thermostatic Expansion Valves can be mounted in any position on the evaporator coil inlet and are reliable, efficient and virtually trouble-free. Select the TXV to correspond with the tonnage of your air conditioner or heat pump.
