The ACiQ AQ-GLZS4BA3610 heat pump has a capacity of 3 tons. In an ideal climate, this tonnage will normally cover up to a medium house. In some bundles, the air handler or coil associated with this condenser may be intentionally larger in tonnage to maintain the unit's overall efficiency. Please note that an indoor air handler or coil that is compatible with heat pumps is required for this unit to function.
14.3 SEER2
At 14.3 SEER2, the AQ-GLZS4BA3610 heat pump condenser has the industry-standard minimum, allowing the unit to remain inexpensive upfront in comparison to higher SEER2 ratings. If you are replacing an existing heat pump, in most cases this SEER2 rating will still be higher than your old unit, allowing it to still save you money over time in energy bills.

The AQ-GLZS4BA3610 condenser comes with ACiQ's standard 10 year parts warranty with online registration through the manufacturer. An installation that follows your state and local codes is required for the warranty to be upheld.

The ACIQ-MH36BU2VYEC evaporator coil is rated to be compatible with condensers with up to 3 tons of heating and cooling. With its ability to be installed with either an AC-only condenser or a heat pump condenser, this unit is ideal for many applications. In some packages, this coil will be larger than its paired condenser, which will increase the overall efficiency of the entire unit, but the coil should never be smaller than its paired condenser.
Note: Do not use heavy duty plastic drain pans on oil furnaces or other applications where outlet temperatures may exceed 290°F +/-5°F. Specify metal drain pans for these applications.

Our electric heater was 36 years old when it went out last month. I found hvacdirect.com online. I called them up and Brandon was very helpful. I was thinking I needed a bigger unit which requires a new 65 amp to be installed. I gave them my zip code and square feet of our home. Brandon let me know that it wasn’t necessary to install a bigger unit. I bought the size he recommended and it works perfectly. I did have to change the thermostat wire form a 2 wire,to a 5 wire. It wasn’t that hard to install at all. I will definitely use this company again and I do recommend buying your hvac needs from them.
