The ACIQ R5A5S48AKAWA air conditioner condenser has an output of 4 tons, generally enough to cool a medium to large house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Please note that this condenser cannot function or provide any sort of heating on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. If you have any questions, please contact us.

The ACIQ R5A5S48AKAWA air conditioner condenser is rated at 13.8 SEER2, making it between 5-7% more efficient than standard 13.4 SEER2 units, saving you money in electric bills over the entire lifetime of your unit.
Warranty
ACIQ offers a 10 year parts warranty on this condenser. For these warranties to be upheld, the unit must be installed following your state and local codes, a new and certified coil must be installed at the same time, and the entire system must be registered online through the manufacturer.
Durability
The cabinet of ACIQ units are extremely durable. On the R5A5S48AKAWA, there are reinforced corner posts and the internals of the unit are protected by an additional inlet grille, all to provide enhanced protection to the unit.

The ACIQ FHMA5X48L0CA air handler is rated for an output of 4 tons. In many cases, this air handler will be larger in tonnage than the condenser it is paired with to maintain the unit's overall efficiency. Please note that for this unit to provide cooling, an outdoor condenser is required for it to function. The unit can support electric heating as a straight electric furnace or as a backup for a heat pump, offered at an additional cost to be field installed.

Customized Installation and Operation
The Ultra70 gives you three ways to install it. Tie it into your existing HVAC system with a dedicated 8" return and a supply connection with backdraft damper. Run it on its own separate ductwork. Or set it freestanding in a basement or crawl space when ducting isn't practical.
Both the return air inlet and supply air outlet use 8" duct collars. The back panel comes configured for horizontal flow through and rotates for vertical flow through with a T20 torx bit, which is what lets the same unit work in an attic, a closet, or under a floor.
Fresh air ventilation is optional and simple to add. A "T" into the inlet duct brings outdoor air into the system to dilute pollutants and maintain normal oxygen levels indoors, and the volume is adjustable with a range of dampers and controls.

Dehumidifiers live in the roughest parts of a house. The Ultra70 is built from heavy-duty steel with components chosen to hold up to damp air, dust, and temperature swings over years of runtime.
Inside, a high-efficiency refrigeration coil, compressor, and fan work together to pull more moisture using about 15% less energy than comparably sized units. The R454B refrigerant charge lowers the environmental impact compared to earlier models while keeping performance where it needs to be.
The MERV-13 filter comes standard and pulls fine particles out of the airstream as the unit works. Vacuum it regularly and swap it every six months. The unit operates between 49°F and 95°F, plugs into a standard 115V grounded outlet at 5.4 amps, and ships with a 9 ft. cord.

It did what I wanted it to do it’s okay
I got into an arguement with my family though when I read 3 ton I assume it was going to be very heavy so I spent money on a specialized tool to pick it up but when it showed up it wasn’t heavy in fact I could carry it myself I don’t like the fact my family argued with me about it but I wished I wasn’t a fool and assumed it was going to be 3 ton who even knows what the hell tonnage mean I just wish there was some kind of bigass bright letters and words saying it’s not actually 3 ton

Everything was great besides a dent in the coil. Looks like damage occurred before shipment .

It took a hit hard enough to bend the wire grill and fins. The super nice shipping box was untouched . But when the thick corrugated shipping cardboard was removed, there was the dent which seemed to be there before it was shipped. The liquid line was bent (but not kinked) off to the side as well.
Was I happy about that ? No. But it needed to be put in service and I was glad to find a 410a unit at this point.
I can't see the dent from my house as they say. But it should have been a "scratch and dent special" in my opinion.

The AC started right up after finishing the brazing, purge and vacuum. The only minor thing is the 3/8" liquid side needs a coupling brazed on to get a strong connection. I like that a filter drier was included and the build quality was significantly better than the equipment I was ripping out.
