Read our privacy policyDesigned to be a high-efficiency furnace, the ACiQ N95ESN0401410A is a money saving unit to provide heating throughout even the coldest months of the year. With its multi-positional design, this unit is a good all-around choice for nearly any application.
The ACiQ N95ESN0401410A has an input of 40,000 BTU. With an efficiency of 96%, this means that the furnace has an output of 38,400 BTU. The 96% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 96% of it is used to heat your home while only 4% is lost out of the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All furnaces at this efficiency (90% and above) requires plastic/PVC flue venting, and if metal flue venting is required for your installation, an 80% efficient furnace would be needed instead. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit, available at an additional cost. Please note that this furnace is not Ultra Low NOx compliant and if shipped to California may be subject to a mitigation fee.
A 60,000-BTU unit heats a 1,500-square-foot house, while another owner reports about five years of heating a 1,700-square-foot Illinois home with lower gas bills than with a 30-year-old Goodman. Reviewers describe straightforward installation, quieter operation than older Carrier furnaces, and quick heating, but some encountered shipping delays or damage, a leaking install-kit gas line, or confusing propane-conversion instructions.
